RMICMS™ Frequently Asked Questions
 

RMICMS™ allows you to easily track visitors as they travel through Pages on your website. Simply add a Tracking Code to the query string of any Page linked to a RMICMS™ Page to enable tracking. RMICMS™ will detect the Tracking Code and save it in the visitors browser session. Only the FIRST Tracking Code for a Visitor will be preserved, all others for the Visitor will be ignored.

You can use tracking codes are stored in Custom Forms, Abandoned Orders, and Orders for later reporting.

1) Contact Form Alert eMails: Once a Tracking Code is detected, if the visitor then submits a Contact Form, RMICMS™ will add the Tracking Code to the eMail alert associated with the Contact Form (See Contact Forms).RMICMS™ will also send the Referring URL (the last page viewed by the Visitor BEFORE coming to your website domain).

2) Shopping Carts: Once a Tracking Code is detected, if the Visitor adds an item to their Shopping Cart, the Tracking Code will be stored in the Cart. RMICMS™ will also store the Referring URL (the last page viewed by the Visitor BEFORE coming to your website domain) in the Cart.

3) Orders: Once a Tracking Code is detected, if the Visitor competes an Order, then the Tracking Code will be stored in the Order. RMICMS™ will also store the Referring URL (the last page viewed by the Visitor BEFORE coming to your website domain) in the Order.

4) Custom Forms: Once a Tracking Code is detected, if the Visitor submits a Custom Form, then the Tracking Code will be stored in the Custom Form's form data. RMICMS™ will also store the Referring URL(the last page viewed by the Visitor BEFORE coming to your website domain) in the form data.
